October 26th WRCA Halloween Party and Annual Member Meeting
It's time for the WRCA Halloween Parade and Party, which will include our required Annual WRCA Member Meeting. We can't wait to see everyone!!!
When: Sunday, October 26, 2025
Where: Rachel Yates Court
2:30 PM Meet at the top of Patuxent Ridge Way.
2:45 PM Follow Firetruck down to the court.
3:00 PM Join the party including The Culler Magic Show.
3:30 PM WRCA Annual Member Meeting
Subs, water and juice drinks will be provided. If your last name starts with:
A-M Bring a sweet treat to share
N-Z Bring chips or pretzels to share
Inclement Weather: In the case of inclement weather, the Party will be cancelled and the Annual Meeting will be moved to 3:00PM at the Savage library. A decision will be made the day before the event.
The Annual Member Meeting agenda will be brief, however we need a quorum (22 households) to conduct a voice vote to approve the three Directors nominated for the three open Board positions: Dottie Balaban, Tammie Boggs-Mejias and Jamie Faulkner. We have three nominees for three positions so we do not have a competitive election and do not need to hold a secret ballot vote. As a reminder, Mary Bowden, Janet Freeman, Bryce Jackson and Darryl Ward are continuing their terms and make up the rest of the seven person Board of Directors. Even if you are not interested in the party, please try to stop by at 3:30 for the meeting and vote.
Other meeting topics will include a financial update, summary of major accomplishments, updates on upcoming items and an open forum for Member comments, questions and discussion.
Members of the Association in good standing may vote in person or by proxy in all meetings of Members. Every proxy shall be in writing and filed with the secretary prior to each meeting. Proxies may be submitted via e-mail to the secretary or to the Board of Directors if the e-mail contains the names of all Members for the specific Lot that is submitting the proxy and also contains the name of the Member to whom the proxy is assigned. Please send to board@warfieldsrange.com An example:
We, Joe and Barbara Smith, residing at 11111 Hunters Way, give our proxy for the October 26th 2025 Annual Member meeting to Jane Doe.
Future Board Meetings in 2025
The 2025 regularly scheduled Board of Directors meetings will be bi-monthly on the second Monday of the month at 7PM starting February 10th, 2025. The meetings will be via Zoom unless the Board decides the topic requires an in person meeting.

Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

The Board has created an informational guide for members with recommended practices for replacing their own trees and trimming existing trees. That guide and a County-approved list of replacement trees may be found on our Community Documents page under "Street Tree Information".
